A Celebration of Quilts Part 1

I belong to the Monroe County Quilt Guild and they have a Bi-Annual show.  The last couple of months I was on a death march to try to get some things finished and in the show.

After work on Friday (between my morning and afternoon routes) I worked the show and took some pictures. Sorry the pictures are not spectacular.  My camera batteries died so I was using my phone.  I tried to get the labels but was not always successful. Also the lighting was fluorescent and colors were not always true.

My Flower Garden by Sue Bondie quilted by Yvette Coulter

Where's The Butterfly by Jackie Van Houten quilted by Ellen Trojan

I wish my phone could have captured the damask table cloth which was used.

Pineberry Creek by Sally Straubel quilted by Material Obsession
The blocks for Pineberry Creek were obtained during a shop hop in 2006.

 I adored this quilt!

The apple tree with the tire swing, and button flowers.
Cherry Tree with a mini quilt and birdhouse with flowers growing up the post!
Another mini quilt hanging on a rail fence.  It was so sweet.  This was another shop hop quilt.

Mystic Nights Made by Eve Cook Quilted by Kathy Kanitz

The above two quilts were BOM from a shop called Sew What in Wyandotte.  I love how different they turned out just based upon the background fabric that they chose.
Kaleidoscope Made by Mary Salvik Quilted by Connie Abalos
Secret Pat Made and Quilted by Kathy Kanitz

There are many more that I will show soon.
