Happy Halloween and October Recap

Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween with not any tricks!

I am not too sure what the reason, but Halloween in our school district was a day off.  Which meant I slept in until 7:15 am!  What did I do today?

I worked on some Farmer's Wife blocks.

Streak of Lightning

Whirlpool

Calico Puzzle

Windows

Recap for what my October goals were.

1. Farmer's Wife I finished 6 blocks.  I only have 8 more to go!  I even have another one all cut out and ready to sew tomorrow!
My next big choice will be what color sashing and corner stones!

2.  Aurifil Block of the month.  All caught up.
August

September

October
3.  Drunkard's Path, not a whole lot going on there.
4.  Lattice quilt, another one not a whole lot accomplished.
5.  BOM from the Batik Quilt group I belong to.
 This one I love.
This one not too much.  I don't always have to use the blocks people choose.  I didn't like the snails trail, and I don't like this one either.  Just doesn't fit the theme of the quilt.  I am still behind a few blocks.

6.  Green Tea and sweet beans, not a thing done on it, but I am considering changing up some of the blocks already.
Too much going on in this block I think.

7.  Charity quilt I got some quilting done on it.
8.  I worked on my words of wisdom and got part of the "N" done.

I also manage to get a stocking done for the guild Christmas Charity.
And a bunch of utility sewing, fixing belt loops, hems, and a pocket for my ID badge/timecard.  I don't think that is too bad overall for a month.
