Westcoast

After 4 days of ironman driving we made it to California.
Mt Shasta

Turned in my paperwork at the tribal office.  Found out on the twisty turny curves toward the extended families houses that the oldest grandson gets car
sick, snd marvelled at how much things have changed since I last visited 13 years ago.

Dipped our toes in the Pacific,
built our first sandcastle out of ocean sand,
And watched the sun set.
Trying to find a hotel to spend the night!  Tomorrow the redwoods!

  7. Have a great trip. Make sure your grandson looks 'up' and out the window. It really helps with the car sickness. My youngest also gets car sick, if he forgets to look out the window, while we travel the twisty roads in Arkansas. Some cool air blowing in his face will also help.
