Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild Show Part 2

Welcome to part 2 of my trip to the Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild Biennial Show.

I was surprised that there were not a lot of embroidery quilts especially with all the wonderful designs out lately.  I do like the Christmas one though.

I loved the red flowers against the yellow quilt blocks.
 A Farmer's Wife!

The colors didn't look quite as bright in my picture.
I wanted to show the quilting which looked like citrus.
 An Allietare--Bonnie Hunter's mystery QAL from 2015.
I liked this one made of bias.  I should have taken a better picture of the quilting which echoed the blocks.

I liked this one.  I think because of the way the crazy border fabric kind of brought it all together.
I loved the bright colors in this one.
I have seen this star previously.  Sorry for the blurry picture.

A Dresden which was a flea market find.  How cool to finish up something started years ago.

DH loved the colors in this quilt.  I kind of liked them too, especially the way the green played off the other colors.
Lots of quilts and I still have more pictures on my camera to share.

  2. Love the Christmas one - stitched and coloured is different. And the song birds are beautiful.
