I would use the fabric from Cheryl sent you as it looks really good, I think you will be able to work it in really well.Baa. xxxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12992879898811807074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8269438919751133297.post-85120734295730796142016-03-11T18:24:18.129-05:002016-03-11T18:24:18.129-05:00I'm with Julia, just give me scraps to work wi...I'm with Julia, just give me scraps to work withbarbara woodshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07824180957906837061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8269438919751133297.post-62733156105862769292016-03-11T16:53:57.360-05:002016-03-11T16:53:57.360-05:00Green is a hard color to match. As far as "match-ey<br /> match-ey" since I do mostly scrappy quilts that doesn't bother meat all...in fact I like it...hugs, JulieroseJulierosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04079686021190332890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8269438919751133297.post-8439768626213120982016-03-11T08:48:32.138-05:002016-03-11T08:48:32.138-05:00I find greens are difficult. I seem to like the lime/kelly greens and don't really have a lot of the dark ones. I might have gone with black but I'm not sure that would have been in your parameters. As for the other fabric. Maybe you could tea dye the original background fabric? Just a thought.Mama Sparkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03124372688717255658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8269438919751133297.post-87354068254519937292016-03-11T08:16:09.367-05:002016-03-11T08:16:09.367-05:00hmmm, sounds like quite the challenge. I have always heard the adage that if two shades don't match go with 3-5...I also am a bit different in that I kind of like it when the fabrics don't quite "go" together. I used to be matchy matchy when I first started quilting but now I kind of like the fun of a pop of the odd! Like is drawn to like you might say ;)krislovesfabrichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04335996028000477555noreply@blogger.com
