I Like Thursday #29

Summer your weeks seem to whirl by.

I like my yard visitor in the mornings.

I love my poppies.  Each year I have more, and more.
These were orangish, but some others were like a melon color.  I love how they have spread.

I like that I can get the pool going pretty easily.  The kids are already enjoying it.

Now head on over to LeeAnna's at Not Afraid of Color to see the other I like Thursday posts.

  4. Hi Colette,
That pool looks so darn inviting! It's been hot here - I'm campaigning for a pool too. And poppies - I adore them. So pretty and the colors are so happy. ~smile~ Roseanne

    1. Jeff loved the water, and had a pool once upon a time, but his first family wasn't very helpful with anything so he got rid of it. I am doing pretty good (knock on wood) keeping it clean and the kids are enjoying it. I am too when they aren't here. :D Oh the poppies just keep blooming, the one right now which is almost a melon color is gorgeous.

    1. I was thrilled at how much mine have spread. Now my cone flowers by my porch did not come back this year.

    1. I know there are bunnies, but this one was a wee bit brazen. LOL The poppies are so many different colors.

    1. I struggled to get them going. But they are spreading. I love perennials that I don't have to bother each year planting.

    1. They can be a lot of work to get to the right spot. But once there it is relaxing after a long hot morning working outside, or in the evening too.

  10. Lovely things growing all around these days. We enjoy our pool very much...keeps me in the best shape of the whole year! According to the bunny poo I see on my walks, we have lots of them here too though I've only seen two little ones in the front one day.

    1. Oh I have a whole warren of rabbits around here. I keep the hawks well fed. Love the pool especially on the really hot days, and I actually have been getting some extra exercise.
