I Wonder Why

Do you have times that you wonder why you even have a blog?  I don't post often, and I am kind of embarrassed to say when I stay off of the computer I get a lot more accomplished.

In one day I managed to get my final bag lady block finished.

Did the BOM that we are doing at my Tuesday sewing group.

These are all supposed to be HST but I am kind of enjoying figuring the quilt math and doing the square in a square instead.

This was the block from the previous month.

The block of the month from the LQS.

Amish with a twist.

Kaleidoscope.

I auditioned borders for my bicycle quilt.

I opted for the fabric on the right.  I even have the borders on now and it all sandwiched to quilt.

I finished all of the blocks for the Saw Tooth Square that I was doing for RSC.
And discovered I was one block short so whipped up one.

I figured out how to set the blocks on point and have even started to sew the rows together.  In no time I will have another top finished.

I have done some retail therapy of course.  I am getting so when I buy something if I have a pattern or quilt I want to make, I kit it up so I can just grab it and work on it when I am ready.

I love these Corey Yoder fabrics called Strawberry Jam, and the quilt shop calls these lampshades.

I bought some great fabrics on sale from Bear Creek Quilting company, including their monthly gem pack of Aurifil thread.  Some of these are for my challenge quilt that I need to get to work on.

I am a gingham girl and I saw these and had to have them.

I have one more that is almost a finish that I will share soon.

  5. Your square in a square block is so nice. Are the lampshades purchased like that? Your RSC is just so cool!I chose the same border for the bicycle quilt. Can't wait to see it done.

  9. You've really accomplished some beauties! I love my blog because without it I wouldn't remember all the things I made. I blog less than I used to, though, and I'm good with that. I'd rather see you once in a while on your blog than not at all. xx
