I had a couple of blocks that just did not turn out quite right. The grandsons claimed them. They think they are beauteous.
Once I got my feet wet I jumped in and did the cowboy on the bucking bronc on one of the Row by Rows which I had made which I showed previously.
The blocks below are from a row by row. This one is kind of nice. I can decide later if I want to go horizontal, or vertical, for now we will just stay blocks.
I went stash diving and the majority of my fabrics were from stash, but I did do a little retail therapy and decided to use a texty background. I think my blocks are very springy and happy, which is especially important considering we finally have "real" winter and it is bitter cold.
I think I am becoming an applique' fan finally.
Your frog is absolutely cute!
ReplyDeleteOh I agree--your froggy is adorable...I am finding my own way to applique....hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteYour applique looks just fine ! I love to machine applique, I have to remember to test before I jump in and start. I've also got to do those cute as can be blocks that Amy posted....I'm just so behind ! I need a kick in the behind to get me going. I have a friend from Wyoming living in South Dakota, missing Wyoming. I plan on doing a bronc wall-hanging for her one of these days. Thanks for your inspiration, you amaze me with your ability and creativity !
