The color for the month of February is aqua. I will just say I had a tough time finding anything that remotely looked like a reproduction which was aqua. I finally settled on this, I will call it dark aqua. Artistic License right?
Since I was still behind from last year I made another which is kind of a rose color.
I don't have many fabrics which are kind of reproductions so I have been doing quite a bit of stash enhancement/
love your blocks. I dont have any reproduction type fabrics. love how this is coming along
ReplyDeleteLovely blocks, Rheema--I especially like that rose-y color...u have a bag full of repro fabrics that i have never even cut into--I like looking at them --and petting them lol hugs, Juierose
ReplyDeleteNot sure I've even seen an aqua reproduction fabric before.
ReplyDeleteI love that blue fabric, and you are right that you can call it color you want! LOL
ReplyDeleteI'd be scrap digging to find reproductions too. I think I have some somewhere, but they must be at the bottom of the bin. Your blocks looks very nice.
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric, I want some civil war fabric
ReplyDeleteWay to make your scraps work for you!!
ReplyDeletestash enhancement... ah very satisfying. I fell in love with the 30's prints years ago, and my sewing peeps had a fit! That's not like you! That's not what you use! I laughed, well look at the teensy little dogs flying airplanes... that's me to a t. They had to get used to this being another part of me. I have a fairly healthy collection of those prints after making several quilts. Collect away
