I Like Thursday #92

Welcome to my 92nd I Like Thursday post.  Thank you LeeAnna of Not Afraid of Color for encouraging us to sharing things that we have found during the week that we like.

If you know anyone with Autism this will bring tears to your eyes.  How great to have a teacher that could reach these young people.  Autism with Attitude.

Somehow this became a bug week.  Check out this gentleman's art he creates with insects.  It is amazing.

Christopher Marley

Speaking of bugs.   Someone took a picture of a VW Beetle that had been mounted in a taxidermied collection of beetles at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

On the same buggy path.  Check out Julie Alice Chappell's awesome bugs which are made out of computer components.

My Christmas cacti are blooming finally.  Obviously mine are confused.

My old one.

The new one I got during the holiday season in hopes to have a bloom or two.  LOL

I saw this card and it made me chuckle.

Finally I have been reading the Grumpy ChickenIrish Pub Series by Constance Barker.  I am not too sure about the series and here I am into book 3.  But they are light reading and make me laugh.

It has been a busy week, and I have picked up a couple of extra partial shifts at work so maybe the books just help me relax.

Now head over to Not Afraid of Color and check out the other I Like Thursday bloggers.

  3. I'm not a fan of bugs (except to take pictures of) but those are beautiful. I love that card...too funny! You have such a green thumb to get those to grow at all. Thanks for sharing!

  5. HAHA - old or new cactus, they bloom when they want. Hmm, you're into book 3 and you're not sure if you like the books or not? I think you don't have any better options and you need to read something! {{Hugs}} And that cat card - too funny. ~smile~ Roseanne

  6. Your plant is so pretty! I guess it decides when it feels like blooming! I've never thought of bugs as being art but that picture changed my mind! The book series sounds good! Keep reading!

  10. VW bugs...they were so popular when I was in university. Imagine that. But how cute it snuck into the museum. Such a gorgeous colour on that plant..cheery for this time of year no matter it is not Christmas. Don't work too hard!

  11. That VW bug post is hysterical! I can't keep any plants because in the city, our house is always so dark (hence gardening is so important). Have a wonderful week Collette!
