I got a prescription at the doctor's last week that just did not really agree with me. What do you do when you feel like you are about 1/2 a step above a potted plant?
Redwork--got quite a bit of my letter R done.
Cross stitch
I finished all of the cross stitch and am now working on the back stitching and outlining.
The doctor and I had a discussion, and the prescription is just not going to work for me, so we are going to try going to a nutritionist, dieting, and exercising. Got to be better than feeling like a houseplant right?
Oh that's awful; hope you are feeling perky soon. It is so difficult to diet, exercise etc when to begin with you are not feeling great! Take it slowly.....I love your tractor--so cute...counted cross stitch is one of the crafts that I cannot seem to do well (others, too evidently!!) hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteFeeling like a houseplant is not good. Depending on Friday's results, we may have to have a Get Healthy challenge going on between us!
ReplyDeleteyou feel like a rubber plant? not good. hope you feel better soon. love the tractor. you have gotten things done even while not feeling good. imagine once you feel better all you can accomplish!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you have been feeling bad! I have had to severely cut back on blogs and the internet so am not able to pop in as often. Hope that you can dial in your numbers with exercise and diet :) My hubs has had us on a low carb high protein diet for several months, working for him but not for me as I miss my munchies and no change in my numbers...maybe with the summer weather exercise will help me turn the corner!
ReplyDeleteAt least you are better now, hope you can get it down with diet and axercise, hugs do you hate these robots ,I do
ReplyDeleteSorry, but we had to giggle at your description of being 1/2 a step above a potted plant - so glad even tho' you weren't feeling well you still have your great humour in tact! We hope ditching the meds and concentrating on the exercise and food will be much better for you, and see you flyin' high again - maybe like Jack and the Beanstalk!
ReplyDeleteI first want to say, beautiful stitching. Secondly, I hope you heal quickly. I will never look at a potted plant the same way!
ReplyDeletewelllll something good came from the down time. Bodies are a pain. Pug mom apparently really helped you a lot, got the whole quilt together!

Bummer not to feel well. You have some very pretty stitches going. Your slow stitching is amazing. That tractor is precious.
ReplyDeleteI am surprised you even felt like slow stitching. Hope you get things figured out.
