Happy Easter









When I was a kid Easter sunrise service the greeting was--"He is Risen" and our response was--"He is risen indeed!"



My great grandmother that raised me always sang or hummed hymns when I was little, and this was one of her favorites.

    The old hymn's touch my heart in ways that the 'current' church music seldom does. The radio just played 'The Old Rugged Cross' and it was a favorite of my father and I.
