November Thankful Day 3

Just a quick post.  I am waiting for the guy to come install my new french doors and replace the slider. 

I mentioned I am posting about something I am thankful for each day in November.

November 1.  I am thankful for every morning I wake up--too many people don't get to see the light of another day.  Thinks about it how would you act if you knew that today was your last day on Earth?  Today is a gift.  Tomorrow is not promised.

November 2.    I am thankful for the fact my feet hit the floor every morning, whether I want to get out of bed or not.

November 3.  I am thankful for the roof over my head.  I love falling asleep to the rain on the standing seam steel roof which is over 150 years old.

Oh look you can see the change in my sticks with leaves I mentioned in my previous post here.  LOL

    Good luck with the construction, my friend. May it go smoothly with no burps :) Hehe...I am thankful the siding guys finished with our project...it looks good now but was such a mess for too long!!

    Oh I CAN see the change in your "sticks with leaves" ;))) they are slow growers, but lovely when full grown.
    I love the sound of rain on the roof...in our tv back room we can hear it better as it's a converted porch...which is why i can fall asleep right there in my recliner...("Are you asleep??" "No, I'm not!!" and so the conversation goes...hahaha) hugs, Julierose
