November Thankful Day 12

I have had a busy couple of days.  I got home kind of late Saturday night.  Quiltworx class, then a meet and greet for a pastoral candidate at a church I am considering attending.

12.  November 12-  I am thankful for Bobbin.  She has brought smiles and laughter back to my life.

She is growing so quickly.  In just a couple of short weeks from this to.....

A feisty little lady.

Bobbin loves to help do things like-

Stack wood.

Consult on quilt layouts.

Take selfies and fix my hair.  Yes I had actually brushed my hair, this is after Bobbin was messing in it while we were playing on the floor.

11.   November 11-  I am thankful I was given a tenacious character.

10.  November 10--I am thankful for fall.

Out by my chicken house I had a carpet of gold.

9.  November 9 I am thankful for saved items.  Maybe I should call them hoarded items.  LOL

8.  November 8--I am thankful for music.

 7.  November 7-- I am thankful for the Boy Scout organization.

This picture is a couple of years old after their 1st pinewood derby.  Xander won a trophy.  These boys have grown so much since this picture it is astounding.

Xander and I will be heading out to an engineering outing.  Maybe I can get some pics..

6.  November 6--I am thankful that I can shop online.

5.  November 5--I am thankful that I could get new doors in my home to add more light.

4.  November 4.   I am thankful for coffee.

3.  November 3.  I am thankful for the roof over my head.  I love falling asleep to the rain on the standing seam steel roof which is over 150 years old.

2.  November 2.    I am thankful for the fact my feet hit the floor every morning, whether I want to get out of bed or not.  How many of us know people, younger than us that do not have the ability to walk?

1.  November 1.  I am thankful for every morning I wake up--too many people don't get to see the light of another day.  Thinks about it how would you act if you knew that today was your last day on Earth?  Today is a gift.  Tomorrow is not promised.

  9. I'm glad you have Bobbin. She's a cutie. Corey brought Harley with him while they stay for a while. Harley and I are two. Hopefully he will stay here when they go. I don't want to think about it if they take him.
    xx, Carol
